Seven colour limited edition shrink wrap bottle

Limited edition shrink wrap artwork was an incredibly challenging project, the illustration around the neck and shoulders would distort during the heating process.
The illustration around the neck and shoulder of the bottle was stretched and adjusted to compensate for the shrinking that occurred. Separation plates were needed to achieve the metallic gold effect was generated once the illustration was corrected.
PMS 5185 would overprint some areas of the PMS 874 Gold to create a brighter metallic purple.
Shrink wrap distortion tests
When the material shrinks during the heating process, the artwork distorts. To help me guess the level of distortion I used Cinema 4D to simulate the shrinking around the shoulder and neck of the bottle.
